Huge pick up for the Dogs. What does the top six look like now? Saw an article where Thomas talks about potentially getting comfortable on the wing. Would a deal like this maybe load up a top line with Akil on the left side. or get that 1-2 punch of Jones/Thomas. Maksimov and Lodnia are both RW. Either way should go well.

According to OHLInsiders.com Singer failed a drug test and supposedly Erie knew about it. Not sure the drug but let's hope that full disclosure was used. Not to mention the facts are true. Singer will be suspended for 8 games.

A gamebreaking forward, a top pair dman, and a 2nd pair dman. Forward can be 18-20. Dmen should be 19-20. They still have 2 overage spots to make this happen.

Congratulations ID fans. The CHL rankings represent an acknowledgement and respect shown to Joey and Billy Burke for rebuilding a team from scratch. The IceDogs failed playoff run in 2016 left them without any players or picks and the daunting task of becoming relevant again. To rebuild the ID to the point where the CHL recognizing them as the number 5 team in the county is vindication that the brothers are two of the brightest young hockey minds in the OHL.
