Will Schiefele regress? What does that mean, though? To me, if Schiefele gets less points, but shuts down the opponent's top line, game after game, it would be progression, not regression.

True.

I do think the article undersells Ehlers' game a bit. He's clearly a playdriver already, and one of the Jets capable of taking over a shift and even a game. I get that he's under the radar, playing for a small-market team, but he's effective even when held off the scoreboard.

I don't know about the order, after the first two, but I just can't think of who the 5th guy is

That list is seriously broken. Eichel should be higher. Trouba as an honourable mention makes the whole exercise a joke.

Edit, Provorov wasn't listed as an honorable mention either and they have Werenski fairly high up there. Maybe some people were high on him? I can't see Pasta being voted higher than Eichel and Draisaitl, at least not yet.

True, I just listed him there because he's been an elite player for more years. Matthews will surpass him if he hasn't already.
