I too view Eichel as a potential generational player along with McDavid. But being a generational prospect doesn't mean you are going to become a generational prospect.

I think generational talent is used, justifiably or not, to describe a player that is the best player in that entire sport over a decent period of time.

You have your franchise Superstars and then above that these "generational" talents.

I believe Eichel has that potential.
