How does your team look like? Been thinking about going for spark along with distributor after pulling Selänne and buying Koivu.

Base McDavid- 89 Crosby - 91 Mario
90 Koivu - 90 Barkov-85 Laine
89 Gaborik- 88 Lindros -87 Sakic
85 Daze - 86 O'Reilly-87 Savard

89 Heiskanen- 90 Ekblad
87 Coffey- 90 Hansson
86 Keith- 86 Blake

88 Price and 61 DaSilva

Forsberg and Stastny are benched due to synergies.

Btw the 88 Price is the first goalie that has made me feel he steals games and keeps me in games I shouldn't be in. I haven't tried the other 88+ goalies but clearly notice the difference between this Price and any of the 87-83 goalies I have tested. The reaching cross crease tip ins is a less of a worry now, he takes all of the low shots.

Outside of the obvious, Daze is very good for an 85, like 85 Laine but left handed.

I want Selanne but after 3 tries on 87 icons and two of them on bench, I intend to buy him once my coins are up to 300k+. Teemu is definitely in the plans.

Yeah I really like Daze as well, have him on my 4th with Laine and Kopitar

I can't figure this out. I have spent money (Shouldnt have I know) have a stacked team and usually get robbed. To many games I outshoot my opponent, out time on attack and all other stats but lose. I've gone the synergies route and no luck. Distributor and the Bee one at the same time with howletz and still had people blowing by me and mine not being able to do the same. Very frustrating indeed.

That's what I do too, I take it more as a strategy/teambuilding game and play less games.

Next I'll have to activate swarm, already got distributor, spark, howitzer, speedster and workhorse.

I have 92 Bob and 93 Korpo neither stop anything. I routinely give up less than 15 shots and over 7 goals. Start most games down 2-0 seems like 1st 2 shots always go in. Had a game yesterday where I allowed 1 shot in the 1st and was down 2-1 because another pass banked off 3 players into the net against me. The ice tilt is very real.

I just use 85 base Rask cause goalies pretty much don't matter lol.

So frustrating...not to mention it doesn’t seem to matter what D zone awareness your players have they let the other team roam at will...just lost 7-1 7 of the exact same variant that stupid cross ice glitch while my D watched it happen...beyond frustrating...not to mention Rittich barely moved on every one of them

Makes you realize how many hundreds of dollars the guys with all star lineups have spent on the game. It’s shit like this that causes the series to stagnate. HUT keeps making ea money, haha

Im running a 91 ovr team highlights being
89-Couturier
86-Boeser
90-Ovechkin
90-Rittich (though he plays more like a bronze 65 but I digress)
Haven’t spent a dime on this game nor do I plan to...but the grind is annoying as efff when you’re trying to accomplish this and you run into these pay to win people...

I think it's worse compared to last few editions but not due to p2w. Sure if you are starting from scratch now you are in a massive disadvantage even against f2p players but skill beats bought squads most of the time if you have even semi decent squad of 83-87ovr players. My biggest concern is the content and game modes and how stale it is. There used to be online seasons and competitive seasons but this year it's just rivals and champs. Week after week feels exactly the same and it just feels too much of a grind when you reach div 1-2 in rivals. Like every other HUT I enjoyed this year the first month or so and after that it just became too repetitive.

I hate this game. I got it a day or two after release and stopped playing for a while. Then tried playing recently and it's unplayable. Goalies suck, AI sucks, player ratings don't mean anything, defensemen stand there and don't even attempt to make a play. Way too arcade-like and feels like shit.

Could not agree more. Been playing everyday since day one. Have a 90 ovr team with Distributor, Spark, Howitzer, workhorse and Light the lamp activated and I can’t beat a bronze player with 60 speed with no synergies, unless it’s McDavid. All my other players are break even when racing for the puck. f***ing ridiculous.

And the cross crease glitch has completely ruined online play. 87 Vasilevsky couldn’t save one if his life depended on it.
