Pathetic stuff out of the service tonight. I know it has improved over time, but this would be bad quality for a high school or college tv level broadcast. The NHL really needs to step up their investment and fix this, it is ridiculous.

I don't get it, I thought the move to MLBAM was supposed to help, you don't see these problems with the At Bat service.

Not only that, but I thought the move to MLBAM was supposed to bring in new features, and make the service pretty much just like MLB.TV. The only improvement they've made this year is dropping the blackouts due to the game being on NHL Network rule, but how about making the user interface better, including some stats, having a second screen option. The last major change NHL.tv had was when they switched from Gamecenter Live, but that was 3 years ago.

So i'm not the only one who struggled with this tonight...

First period of the Flyers/ Minnesota game looked like a compressed video from 1993, the second period was unwatchable, and finally it cleared up for the third. Someday they'll get this right.

On the plus side i got a reprieve from the f***ing nhl figures garbage for about an hour

So on Tuesday night, I'm watching the Lightning game on my Android while I'm sitting in a ground stop on a flight back home. I started about two hour late, started the game from the beginning and was catching up, was going to finish the game when I got home.

Then the app closed itself, and when I went back in the game started from live, and the time scrubber was missing -- my only option was to watch it live. I ended up seeing the score so said screw it and finished the last few minutes of the third period, but what is that all about? Quite frustrating.

I had been having the quality problems other people mentioned, but I thought that was because I was on mobile.

Anyone else unable to subscribe? In Firefox, it won't react when I click on the first "subscribe" button, in Chrome and Edge, it won't react when I'm selecting a payment method.

Also, I get an error message on the Xbox One, but I can access the store etc. just fine.

I'm pretty sure it has been that way all season. I watched one game that was on NHL Network on my phone no problem.

I have the NHL Network so unless i'm out i'll watch it over terrestrial cable. It's usually better in quality picture wise and I don't have to see NHL Figures crap commercial 50 times a night

I've been able to do that all season.

One thing I appreciate this year is this service hasn't cut off games immediately after they end, and we've been able to see the pre and post game shows (At least for the American telecasts. I just watched the Shane Doan retirement ceremony on NHL.TV. Now if they can get After Hours on the service that would be kind of cool.

iPad errors because it can't pull location. Phone works. I enjoy having to watch the game on a small screen because of corporate greed.

Does anyone know how to watch the games on safari instead of the app on an iPad?
App keeps crashing, and when I login into the site, it redirects me to a page telling me to get the app.

I really don't understand how paying $179.99 per season does not exempt me from watching a 30 second add for each highlight I want to watch, really frustrating.

In terms of quality I have been getting good quality streaming through my PS4.
