I think we'll get two defensemen and a bottom-six forward. We'll probably lose Raddysh and Erne.

Joel Ward is rumored to be available too. He's a pretty good playoff performer IIRC.
I saw that. I really like Ward, but the more I thought about it, the less sense it made. We already have Cally and Kunitz, so realistically Ward would probably be taking a spot from someone younger and faster.

I'm up now but I didn't miss anyting, and not just around TB but there was no trades during the night (or evening in the US/CAN) feels a bit strange.

I think a lot of people are waiting for someone else to do something first.

I don’t think Dorion wanna trade Karlsson until he sees potentially traded player Ryan McDonagh.

I had a nightmare guys... Yzerman traded Point and a 2nd rounder for Karlsson. As soon as I woke up I checked hfboards and thank god it didn't really happen

Yzerman isn't going to make any moves.
Yes he will, it's gonna be smaller moves like Mike Green.

Doubt Steve brings in A LOT of help. He probably brings in SOME help and hopes the current roster plays better.

If he doesn't make a trade for a major defense upgrade today, he's gonna have to improve the defense in the offseason if he wants to capitalize on this window. There is no debating it, the defense needs an upgrade.

A window that will have shrunk by at least one season because no upgrades today = no chance at winning the Cup this season.

Of the unsexy cheaper moves that could be made, I wouldn't mind Luke Glendening from Detroit. Good pker, defensive forward, with a lovely 58.49% in faceoffs this year.
