See I don't get this. Tor and Edm are not in our division, already have high powered forwards and suck. Who cares of they get Laf.

Rangers are in our division, seem to have competent management, are on the way up, etc.

It will be a few years but what a turn around for them. Kakko didn’t look that good as a rookie and they got rolled by the Canes. But they certainly have a bright future.

Exactly. We have been so spoiled as a fanbase for the past decade+. Sure we had a ton of heartbreak but we won a cup...not many other teams can claim that. It is inevitable that we will have a rebuild in the near future so we should really be concerned about winning NOW.
