Has anyone heard anything from management since Saturday? Isn't there any local media or writers that have access to them. Be nice if someone reached out and started asking some questions and see what the deal is. See if they have a plan and if they are still in the game or are they standing pat. Someone must be able to get some answers in Boston

Why would we sign two more stiffs?
McKegg is a former Leaf and not a good hockey player, should be in the AHL.
We should have signed Caggiula, way better player.
Now we have another 4th line center on the team. Wonderful.
Booth is no more than an ECHL goalie, guess we need someone to play there?

McKegg is AHL depth. Paul Carey's new best buddy. Like Carey he's got a far amount of NHL experience, so they are dependable fringe-level guys at the NHL level. AAAA-level hockey players basically. The guy has been kicking around the AHL for nearly a decade so I'll assume he's a good teammate.

I’ve read nothing other than DJ Bean‘s article last week.

Talk radio is busy discussing the Patriots negative covid tests. Rough time to be a Bruins fan here

Last time I checked, we were almost full at the AHL level?

10.3 M approx.

Yes, but McKegg will be in Providence most likely and not hitting our cap, so just Zboril which we knew would happen after they qualified him, and they still will sign Senyshyn to probably some something similar. Kuhlman is going to get a new deal also, probably cheap.

I have been saying for a bit that Zboril should be on the team. I heard a sound bite of Sweeney saying something about working him in. Kid has nothing to learn in the AHL and as a bottom guy making 725,000 that is 2 million less than Moore. Every penny counts, put Miller on LTIR and bury McKegg and Ritchie in the AHL. Frederic is better then Fat Ritchie and also cheaper. Find a partner for Mac and sign Hoffman, Grizz and Jake. Find a home for Bjork and Moore.

Why not bury Moore while you’re at it?

You were too quick, like the Tampa players getting on Chara, lol. I just added to it before you replied. Move out Moore and Bjork in some kind of deal to get a partner for Mac, add Ritchie or a prospect and or pick if needed. That equals close to 4.4 million to 6 off the cap.

The goalie they signed could be sent to the ECHL, McKegg makes no sense.

With McKegg I see 13 F and 5 D in Providence to start the season. Make it 14 F when Pasta is ready to go. Assuming the Bruins don't bring in anyone or move anyone.

I can also see some of the guys loaned out to the Euro-clubs, one or some of Lauko, Koppanen, and Lantosi stay overseas rather than return to Providence in 2020-21 with everything going on.

Hum, are you sure? 700,000 is a lot for an AHL player don't you think? Especially if they don't play.

Especially when no revenue is coming in .

It's a two way contract, so he will probably be getting more along the lines of 100k or something when in Providence. That 700k is only if he is on the big club.

I could see Cehlarik leaving for good and going to the KHL and Pavel Shen maybe playing there for a year. Berglund may stay where he is at, he seems to be having a good start and is playing big minutes in Sweden. Maybe Sweeney is covering his bases signing these guys lately.
