Kopitar would've been picked a lot earlier if he had any of the linemates the guys ahead of him have.

Seems like Kopitar's gotten shafted to me. From the second worst scoring team in the league Kopitar produced at an identical rate to Backstrom who plays on the league's second highest scoring team, while being the superior defensive player. Blake Wheeler also produced at the same clip last year coming off back to back 90+ point seasons, a milestone Backstrom hasn't hit in a decade. For hfboards Mr. Underrated poster boy Backstrom doesn't seem to get underrated very often.

Also think Johnny Gaudreau could easily surprise alot of people, he seems to have been totally written off a year removed from 99 points.

I dunno, ask NJ.... but I mean, both would be a great addition to any team.
