Mock expansion draft: What the Seattle NHL team might look...

Four staff writers for The Athletic have a go at a 2021 Seattle mock expansion draft. Don't want to go through the long list of all the picks but here's what each guy thought the new team would take from Colorado:

Willis: Francouz
Custance: Zadorov
Burnside: Calvert
Duhatschek: Zadorov

If the expansion gets approved for 2021... first, don't start Makar's clock until next season.... then, don't worry about it for a couple more seasons. 2021 is a ways off and lots of things can change.

Don't think his ELC is affected unless he plays 10 games or more, so it's really going to depend on how UMass does this season.

Talbot, Kreider, and Spezza.. With Timmins left unprotected and not picked.

Tough to call right now. Today I'd go with 8 skaters.

Its gonna change for sure, I think 2 out of Jost/Kerfoot/Ghetto/hopefully not Kam will be moved. Maybe even together. Or we could see a big trade with Barrie.
