I did this last year and it worked really well. Lets make up this years draft picking players one at a time. All we have to do is post who you think the next best player is in the draft and just a little blurb about them. The blurb could just be a little info or their playing style or anything. That way we can all learn a little bit about the players in the drraft.

1-Adam Larsson-best defencemen in the draft and will log a lot of minutes. Good offensive upside as well.

Please do not post one player after another by the same poster. Give a few picks between yours or even a one hour window between making another pick by the same poster.

So number two would be...

2. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. The best playmaker in the draft will give someone a solid future 1st line center.

7. Ryan Murphy - The most explosive defenseman in the draft. Dynamic skater that has a skillset that can break a game open.

9. Mika Zabinejad - I go off the board a bit and take this big Swede. Great all round player with size and a nice physical edge.

14. Ryan Murphy - best offensive Dman in the draft

Already taken...

Armia taken twice and both Heuberdeau and Hamilton at 5.. this game is working out nicely.

To be fair, the guy changed his to Hamilton after he had posted it as Landeskog....that's why our numbers are the same. He originally had his as #4 Landy, the same as the guy ahead of him.

To summarize:

1. Adam Larsson
2. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins
3. Sean Couturier
4. Gabriel Landeskog
5. Dougie Hamilton
6. Jonathan Huberdeau
7. Ryan Strome
8. Ryan Muprhy
9. Duncan Siemens
10. Mika Zabinejad
11. Tyler Biggs
12. Joel Armia
13. Brandon Saad
14. Sven Bartschi
15. Zach Phillips

and..

16. Mark McNeill

I add 17, Matt Puempel - The best pure sniper in the draft IMO.
