I will not waste time watching this as we are not in it till Wednesday. I will keep tabs incase any drama happens, like if we make a late move to get into it with a trade.

We do not get up to pick till the #58 pick.

I'll be watching. Several teams trying to offload cap. There will be movement. Not sure the B's will be involved, but I think there is a solid chance given that Sweeney has made moves leading up to the draft in the past. Even if not...I enjoy the draft regardless. Besides, what the hell else is their to watch?

This is one draft I have not paid much attention to so any name I don’t recognize gets me excited. What are your thoughts on these guys?

I'm in a sim league and we had our draft a couple months ago so I had to read a lot about prospects (I drafted Hanas and Raska) so I went off other peoples opinions since I never saw any of them.

@lost peanut is a huge Wisdom fan, and has been for some time, so that is good enough for me. Hanas may have untapped potential has he can score but is softer and not very good defensively.... Raska is a bowling ball, agitator and I read is always the hardest worker on the ice... Uens will prob go earlier, but he's a Bruins type defenseman and Smith is just a dart at the dartboard.

Keep in mind Sweeney hasn't drafted anyone out of the CHL in 3 out of the 5 drafts he's been in charge,it will either continue that way or that league is due for some serious mining from his entourage.

I had Uens on my list last year. I wanted one of Uens or McFaul for the B's

Zachary Uens – Wellington Dukes – Player Profile

I actually had Uens 25th in Ontario a year ago.

So you're saying there would be some Wisdom in that pick?
