What is BPA?Last time they did that, they took KK and it was the biggest mistake they make in the past 15 years.
Take the BPA, so many things can change in 2-3 years

All 3 will most probably be gone before our pickWe're drafting a Forward or a RD. It will be one of Lindstrom, Demidov, Levshunov.
Sadly you may be right. All 3 will most probably be gone before our pick
I watched him alot, close to 10 or 12 games including some playoffs ones and some U18. I actually like him alot, I even made a video on him at some point after the CHL top prospects game. I would pick him over Catton and a few others, he is 100% going to be a solid NHLer, but I dont see a playdriver, I see him more in the mold of a Lehkonen with a better shot. I just like Lindstrom and Helenius more.Tell me you’ve never seen Iggy play, without saying you’ve never seen iggy play.

Hughes on whether he expects that player will be able to join the team in the near future:
I might be able to answer that question better after our meetings, but I imagine that if it’s someone who isn’t ready next year, it won’t be too much longer afterwards. If we look at what happened this year, the first three players to get drafted played in the NHL. And, I imagine there will be others from the 2023 Draft who will move up to the NHL this coming year.
Hughes hopes the team will be in a better position in the coming years and won’t need to draft as highly:
We definitely want to progress from one year to the next. It’s time to advance and be in the mix. And if that’s the case, if we succeed, we’ll draft later next year.
I think it will be hard to pass on Lindstrom if he drops, but if Columbus take him, my guy is Helenius if we go with a foward, Silayev if we go for the high upside D.You were right with our picks 2 years in a row so ill trust your opinion do you think the Habs will take Helenius ?
Mtl doesn’t get that level of UFAs. People here need to come to terms with that. We will get some complimentary talents, but never the level of what this kid projects. For 10 seasons at a rebate? Never.I doubt they draft Iginla who projects more like a strong complementary player. Its way easier to get a Iginla like winger on the FA market than a top 6 C or a #1 defenseman like Silayev.
his back issues scare meWhile I like Guhle it would be hard to pass on Sam Dickinson. The scouts I trust.
I wonder how many scouts are concerned with Lindstrom and his injury issues.
If they do that Bedard asks for a trade.I wouldn't be surprised if the Hawks tank for another 3-5 years. They really scorched the earth by trading DeBrincat and Dach to kickstart their rebuild.
What if they all go off the board with picks 2-4?We're drafting a Forward or a RD. It will be one of Lindstrom, Demidov, Levshunov.
agreed, he probably fills out at 6, 205 ...but what impresses me is the meteoric improvement, I'd have no issues with Iginla. a 35-40 goal winger? sign me upMtl doesn’t get that level of UFAs. That is a distinct possibility. If Celebrini, Demidov, and Lindstrom are gone, I think they will pick up Sennecke.
It might not surprise me if they trade picks with Calgary and still get Sennecke.
A guy that shows up when it counts. At such a young age.agreed, he probably fills out at 6, 205 ...but what impresses me is the meteoric improvement, I'd have no issues with Iginla. a 35-40 goal winger? sign me up
Beckett Sennecke is not a top-10 pick. He doesn’t have any specific skill that sets him apart and that jumps out at you. People like his growth I guess and are overvaluing his playoff performance.
I’d much rather have Iginla or even Catton (who I’m not a big fan of).
My list would be:
1. Demidov (almost no chance he’s there)
2. Lindstrom
3. Iginla
4. Catton
An incredible shot and the elite ability to get into open lanes to get his shot off. He’s a pure sniper and may be the best goal-scorer in the draft class. I don’t dislike Sennecke as a player, but I’d be disappointed if we drafted him at 5.What specific skill does Iginla have that stands out compared to Sennecke?
Denial ain’t just a river in Egypt. He's been saying that for like the last 3 months. Lol.
I took notice of those numbers about Silayev too. That will be THE factor. Who are those scouts?Unfortunately, this is what I think too.
But Silayev is a top 5 pick for 8/10 scouts polled by MacKenzie, and I'd not be surprised if either Chicago or Anaheim goes for the big D.
You mean Philly at 12 would trade down for 17 and 25?If the pick is either Lindstrom or Iginla at 5 why not trade #5 + a b prospect to Washington for Leonard and #17 and then trade 17 + 25 to get pick 11, 12 or 13 and draft an Eiserman or Senecke or whatever?
