Then explain the Leafs low GA. Someone is doing something right.7th in SV% 11th In GAA yeah thats Vezina territory lol
I'm sure you're right and I'm missing something, but how do you figure? At this point, it should be Gibson. He had about twice as high GSAA as any other goaltender.
I don't have to explain anything , the stats do change daily tho , he's now 7th in SV% and 13th in GAA , for perspective McStarter is now 11 in SV% but 3rd in GAA .Then explain the Leafs low GA. Someone is doing something right.
Why would you have to dismiss the true tandem starters ? Lehner only has 2 games less than Vasilevski , Jack Campbell hasn't hit the theoretical minimum of 20 games yet but he's killing it stat wise and 5 more games he'll be there so how do you toss out a guy leading all stats ?I don't see it at this point. Andy's big advantage was games played but that's kind of gone at this point.
Sure you probably have to dismiss the tandem starters like:
Lehner 22gms, .926
Halak 24gms, .924
Desmith 26gms, .924
Rittich 26gms, .921
But even just the full-time starters:
Vasilevksy 24gms, .925
Gibson 37gms, .923
Andersen 30gms, .923
Bishop 28gms, .923
It's been a while since I saw the numbers so I can't be sure. It might have been at 5v5 only, where Gibson has 17.37 and the next full-time starter (Rinne) has 10.35.I'm sure you're right and I'm missing something, but how do you figure?
Gibson is at 16.7
Andy is at 14.2
Vasi is at 12.5
Desmith is at 11.7
Twice as high?
They disagree and with good reason. He's certainly top 5 this year.Is there a mandatory country of origin and hair colour requirement ? The fact that our goalie isn't the best in the league and may not even be top 5 this year isn't the end of the world eh .
