I did an analysis and wrote a blog post about it comparing what coaches did better and worse than expected if you were to look at Corsi of their players under different coaches. It's more involved than that and I do my best to mitigate the differences in teams. Anyway, take a look. Most surprising is Jack Capuano in general, particularly in 2012-13 really overperformed and the least surprising is Adam Oates in general, particularly in 2012-13 underperformed.
