If you really want to build around a C, Bobby Clarke is still on the board and that would totally screw with the Flyers fans a few picks from now.

He was before my time...I'm biased a bit for guys I've watched....but his resume is very impressive. 3 Harts and Selke.

Looks like the board is going Bourque and can't go wrong with that pick.

I think Ronnie is a bit underrated for various reasons, but I certainly understand why he's not getting more votes. Looking back at his career he was actually only an all-star 4 times and aside from nice-guy awards he only won the Selke once. Before looking this up I would've been certain he would've had more all-star appearances and awards.

How much do you weight longevity/consistency vs peak play though?
