So who was it? Isn't this laughable and typical of Goodenow? He certifies and does nothing about his buddy Dave Frost who has been banned from almost every rink in Canada but takes away the certification of an honest agent that at least showed some balls.

In the article I seem to remember the journalist stating that only the agents who represent a player can fully view his stats & comparisons vs. the entire league. Nick Schultz was used as an example. Thats probably not that case though. I was orignally thinking the agent could be an up-and-coming hotshot, and I dont believe JP Barry is an up and comer. My bad.

It's interesting as McBride's only clients were Dafoe & Allison, both of which have a questionable NHL future at this point. Someone like McBride was possibly on his way out as an agent as it was, and COULD have seen this as a way to expose the NHLPA on his way out. Who knows, at least until it's formally reported.

I'd never hire anyone to represent me that breached a confidentiality agreement. This goes way beyond the CBA negotiations. The issue is one of basic integrity. I doubt if this guy will ever work in the industry again. When the CBA is settled he can expect to be bankrupted by lawsuits alleging monetary damages caused by his leaking confidential information.

This was reported a few weeks ago and Daly brushed it off indicating that the NHL has a similar 'program' available for GMs.
