Pretty disappointing. After that horrendous season we end up with the 13th overall pick

The difference between 12-13 is almost nothing imo.

Seems a little silly to be kvetching about it...

Last year Jake Bean, Charlie McAvoy and Jakob Chykrun were all available at #13. Something tells me that we won't have such a nice array of options at that spot this year

I was just thinking the same thing how we might be forced to parr with rosolovic to "fix" our Stanely pick.

i would be fine with taking brannstrom.

Me too but I don't see the Jets doing that considering his size.

Edit: I am also now seriously considering Suzuki as a pick. Hope was that if there was a run on D there'd be atleast a Petterson type that falls to us. Not as likely at 13. Suzuki is likely the best forward after the top 3-12 tier. He could be a solid Robby Fabbri esque player in a couple of years.

There are many nice D prospects and I'm sure that several of them will be available at #13. Jets just have to make the correct choice.

Not convinced that there is a "3-12 tier". I think draft boards are highly variable. Chances are teams might move up or down depending on how they rate the top 15-20 picks.

i think there is zero chance pettersson falls out the top 10. he will likely be scooped up by the coyotes pick.

realistically ... brannstrom, suzuki, timmins, andersson, foote, rasmussen will be available @ 13 with a very slight chance of valimaki and even smaller for makar.

staying at 12 would have been much better unfortunately

i'd swing for the fences for brannstrom if makar and vmak are gone personally.

Those in know on Canucks twitter (and the Canucks board) saying that Canucks likely to draft Liljegren at 5.

Hoping because of the perceived weak draft pool, a couple of teams takes a flyer before us at 13. :) Yeah Flyer! LOL! God I'm funny!
