I expect the Sabres to make quite a few moves before the season starts, but I'll go with what we know right now...

Skinner (87) - Eichel (88) - Reinhart (85)
Olofsson (78) - Mittelstadt (79) - Nylander (75)
Sheary (80) - Rodrigues (81) - Thompson (78)
Girgensons (79) - Larsson (78) - Okposo (81)
Wilson (77) - Sobotka (79) - Ruotsalainen (75)

Dahlin (86) - Ristolainen (86)
McCabe (82) - Montour (83)
Scandella (80) - Bogosian (82)
Pilut (77) - Nelson (77)
Hunwick (78)

Hutton (83)
Ullmark (80)

Like I said, there is absolutely no way Jason Botterill can go into the first week of October with this as his roster...fans will burn the arena down. Lol.

Sobotka, Larsson, Girgensons, Wilson, Scandella and Hunwick need to go...they need at least 3 new forwards and 1 new defenseman.

(And all of this is exactly why Sabres fans need to realize we cannot trade Ristolainen, Reinhart, Mittelstadt, McCabe or Nylander like some want to do.)

EDIT: Ps. Woof!

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CAN THEY PLEASE MAKE EVEN A SINGLE OLAYER IN THE FOOKIN GAME HAVE A PLAYER RATED HIGHER THAN 95!?!?!?!

How Crosby and McGoat aren’t at least a 95-96 is beyond insanity.

Strome could be higher based on last season but an 83 is a conservative estimate of his talent and Seabrook could be even lower.

ohhhhhhhhkkkaayyyyy i know i'm a biased rangers fan but i think youre being pretty harsh on hank with that rating. its too bad because the rest of your ratings i really like but rating lundqvist is still way better than atleats 50% of your goalies list.

It isn't 2011 anymore...buddy is way past his prime and there is a very good possibility he is going to be a backup next year.

In order to get McDavid to 98 you would need to heavy inflate all his attributes giving him 95+ slap shot power, 95+ defensive awareness, 95+ body checking etc.

It would just make the player ratings even more unrealistic

I'd still loooooove to see top end players to be around 93, but the 4th liners around 50-65. Would give some much more depth in the game. That would of course mean that players would be different and we could actually see that a smaller 4ht line speedy forward would only have his speed, not much more. And then Chara wouldnt have any speed, but his strenght/reach would compensate. That will not be the case unfortunately.

I kind of wish the overall numbers were hidden. It would stop carping about "[elite player] is only XX overall?!" and let you just focus on the specific attributes, which are what matters.
Or they could at least weigh the individual attributes differently depending on the player's position and player type. Like, we shouldn't need to pretend that every top scoring forward is a dominant defensive player just to get them to an elite overall rating.

If the Leafs go into the season with that lineup, I might cry lol. Spezza and Ceci at an 81 is wayyy too high, Nylander at an 86 should probably be bumped down to an 85, Micheyev should be a 79, I think Pontus Aberg makes the team and Kapanen is not better than Johnsson. Other then that I like these ratings. (If Harpur makes the team over Sandin, Liljgren, Holl or Kivihalme I might strangle Mike Babcock)
