How did you find out who had their faces in the game? I can’t find a way to edit players on the beta.

Matt Murray for Pittsburgh as well. His face can be visible during the SC celebration. Also Darnell Nurse has a player scan. It can be seen in the video around 14:05-14:10 minutes.

You can play online versus so maybe he paused and quickly went through some faces? There are some videos on You Tube with some game play, showing Pittsburgh, Edmonton, Montreal, Toronto, and Winnipeg. Also, if you play NHL 3's, you may be able to catch some player faces. Bold's are the new faces and this list is easily taken from NHL 17, and added to. So this may not be a full list of confirms. I'm hoping they've added a lot of new faces. There's plenty of players in the game that should look like themselves.

It seems that other sports games, including modded versions of older NHL games, are able to accomplish player faces without using the high-definition scanning technology. I wonder what the major hold-up is for the current NHL series in getting every face in.
