Starting year off with powder puff schedule helps

@ Raiders
vs Cardinals
vs Chargers

And having Talib/Peters covers for issue

Now with no Talib/Peters it becomes problem as well as moving into a more difficult stretch of schedule which includes games vs Vikings , Packers , Chiefs and Saints

So hasn't been a problem, got cha.

I thought Gruden was a top 3 coach in the NFL? Why is his team considered a powder puff?

So by your logic Mitch is not problem because Bears are 2-1 and in 1st?

Are you disputing that Suh doesn't have reputation of taking plays off?

Are you saying outside of Donald the Rams front 7 is impressive?
When did Michael Brockers become a scrub?

You implied the Rams would struggle because they have no front 7 outside of Suh and Donald. I just said Ram are fine with Suh, Donald, and co ... especially against the Vikings atrocious offensive line.

Ndamukong Suh's signing with the Rams may be the most important move of the offseason | NFL Analysis | Pro Football Focus

Seriously, are you just making things up?

Again are you denying that Suh takes plays off and that is his reputation?

Pretty convenient you're giving your guy 2-3 years of room to grow but you can't let anyone on the bears have more than a year.

Well Gruden inherited a bad team and will need a few years to rebuild it

Also Gruden a proven NFL HC with a SB ring deserves more leeway unlike a HC who's career at this point is best remembered for his horrendous playoff performance as a OC

Did you even read the article I linked? Suh is still one of the most dominant DLs in the league combining pressures and run defense.

"The new duo’s dominance goes beyond just 2017 too, with both Suh and Donald ranking in the top 10 in total pressures on the defensive interior in each of the past four seasons. In terms of PFF grade, Donald has produced grades of 99.3, 98.5 and 99.7. That’s a three-year run that eclipses even what J.J. Watt did between 2012 and 2015. While not quite up there with Donald, Suh has still produced grades of 92.5, 89.3 and 91.0 over the past three seasons."

I think you make stuff up.

Stop it with Gruden. He might turn out to be decent in 4 years ... but coming from someone who dumps on people in 1 month, YOU have no credibility to preach patience.

He’s very selective with how he assigns his logic. Consistency is not one of his strong suits.

My point is you wanted to fire someone like Pace after one season of rebuilding.

He’s very selective with how he assigns his logic. Consistency is not one of his strong suits.

He works backwards. He starts at the end; "Pace sucks" or "Gruden is good" and applies whatever argument is needed to support that conclusion while not caring if he argued the exact opposite point in another case. The opinions themselves can be justified, but it's the intellectual dishonesty he uses to support them that is maddening.

Pace has proven not to be worthy of praise he has received

The fact his #2 overall pick is busting while his #7 has busted and his #9 is a complete disappointment at this point further erode the claims of his "Greatness"

If Mitch fails this year it should be end of Pace and Trubisky experiment but sadly it wont be

If the Bears win the Superbowl this year, what should happen?

Trubisky is a concern, but Pace also signed / drafted / traded ...

* Goldman, Hicks, Mack, Trevathan, Smith, Prince, Lynch, Robertson-Harris, Jackson, Amos, Callaghan, Whitehair, Robinson, Burton, Gabriel, Miller, Howard, Cohen, etc.

The only players contributing from the past regime are:
* Leno, Long, O'Donnell, and Fuller.

Granted Trubisky has to turn it around ... I think Bear fans are satisfied with the young talent he's assembled. Pace also has done a pretty good job maintaining cap flexibility. Pace has his flaws, but he isn't close to the disaster as you say he is.

You're getting away from the fact that you wanted someone fired after 1-2 seasons when you're willing to give "your guy" much longer than that.

Are you willing to admit that's a double standard?
