A few years ago, the Seahawks did this in the PRESEASON. They didnt make the playoffs so it was a bit of a jinx.

For most part in the NFL, these are pay as they play tickets. You only pay for them if the game happens. You do not have to front the full money and get a refund if the game isnt played.

In Toronto we get the bill for following seasons tickets and current seasons playoffs at the same time, end of Feb/early March.

With the funds fully refundable if the team does not make the playoffs, I don't see it being that big of a deal.

If any teams include a non-refundable deposit, then I have an issue with it.
