49ers, Santa Clara settle suit over disability access for $24 million

Their lawyers contended the stadium and its lots and walkways contained nearly 2,700 “access barriers” for people with disabilities. The opposing sides negotiated a settlement through court-appointed mediators after U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh certified the suit as a class action on behalf of mobility-impaired stadium-goers.

From parking issues to lack of signage to be directed to elevators, to "requiring" purchase of handicapped tickets "in person" (as opposed to by phone or online), inaccessible doors, too narrow corridors in merchandise store, no handicap accessible counter at food outlets, and more.

Considering the stadium cost more than $1B, you'd think that accessibility issues would be incorporated at ever level, figuratively and literally.

Now waiting on judge's OK on settlement. If approved, would allow mobility impaired guests to put in claim for events attended/attempted-to-attend, as well as the many procedural and other physical changes to be required.
