Columbus, Vegas, or Minnesota probably, but they have short windows with their building situation, just as I opine. If it's not one of them within the next 5 years or so, that'll close, and all bets are off. Pittsburgh went from "bankrupt and possibly relocating" to three cups inside of a decade. Someone else like Arizona could do the same, but it's hard to predict. Knowing how random hockey can be with such parity in a league like the NHL, it might be something more like Seattle winning in 2025 just to annoy everyone instead.

If the Panthers can somehow get rid of that Bobrovsky contract to continue adding to a pretty great team, I think that would make them the favorite easily. Until then, maybe if Vegas can land an elite C, I think they're a bit closer.

If Ekblad can stay on the level he showed before he got injured and if Bobrovsky manages to earn his paycheck, then Florida Panthers is a decent bet. Even though their window is probably only open for 1 more season before Barkov is taking up at least 11% of their salary room.
