Craig Custance was in Denmark for the World Championships. He heard the Rangers were/are interested in the Swedish coach Rikard Gronberg for a coaching position.

Custance did a podcast with Dimitri Filopovic.

I doubt he's gonna be here for the full five years to be honest. That may not be a bad thing though

my guess is considering he will be tasked with bringing along youth, he might make it the full five years

Well when you win Stanley Cups your first 4 years you might get a little bored.

That would be something and I wish this would be why.


EDIT: for RI7, it's definitely possible, depending on the arc of a lot of these guys. I just have a feeling about him going 4/5

my guess is our next window is in 3 years.....that gives quinn time to acclimate to the nhl and lay out his plan more efficiently...most of the players will be comfortable with him as well
