True. They have the puck a lot and just killed teams with their forecheck. If you have the puck a lot you can make up deficiencies in other areas.
Can MAF play that well again?

They actually did a separate piece on him as rookies were not part of the criteria. But yea...the guy that said we should have drafted him over Patrick is nuts.

Since, as you showed and have said over and over, that TK was being carried by Couts and Giroux, why would Hakstol "promote" TK to the 3rd line for the playoffs like you said he did? You know, when you said he did so so TK could lead his own line.

Did Hak not have this info at his disposal?

Desperation. Hoped that TK's improvement could carry over, and Raffl could be revived playing with G and Couts.
Otherwise he's got a top first line, a meh second line with Lindblom belly up and Patrick struggling, and a mess on the third line.

Basically, it was like Custer at the Little Bighorn, didn't really matter what moves you made, you're still gonna get scalped.
