sportsnet has just reported that aki berg and kiprusoff have been pulled from a game to prevent any possible injury, it also reports aebischer has packed up his belongings in anticipation of a cba resolution. Just heard this on Fan590, take it for whatever it's worth.

Seperately, CBC Newsworld is confirming that the NHL has borrowed one of their satelite trucks, in anticipation of some sort of announcement later in the afternoon, the subject of the announcement is described as "still uncertain".

To state the obvious, things are looking good. :)
I'm always cautiously pessimistic, but even I can't help but think that NHL hockey will be up and running in the next two weeks.
