Going from Carolina to Calgary would be an odd switch from a talent standpoint since both teams are similarly meh bubble units but I guess part of it is people are running the heck away from that new owner too. They can't get anyone to interview for their GM job either.

Yeah, I already saw that a deal between him and Calgary is close. Not sure if the sources are reliable or not.

I actually saw a post somewhere earlier where the person posting implied that they (Calgary) had already hired him and that was the first I had heard of it. So I dug around a bit and saw that it's been reported that they may be close to agreeing to terms with him.

None of them were in the playoffs while Nico was. What a useless award.

Awards are nice but at the end of the day I'm more concerned with the positive contributions players put forth for the team. If they happen to win an award on top of being a positive for the team, awesome. If they don't happen to win an award while still being a positive, that is what is more meaningful.

Yeah plus bad teams usually are gonna have the best rookies. We just happened to be a bad team last year that made a quantam (25+ point) leap this year.
