While on the topic of jerseys, how large is the crest on the old style Red Edge jersey? I bought a Starter authentic a couple years back, but sold it shortly thereafter as I really disliked the crest being wider than my torso.

Anyone know where to get a jersey lettered/numbered for less than the $80 they're charging at The Eye?

I was going to suggest an online option (Exclusive Pro Sports, IceJerseys, CoolHockey, etc.), but as I further looked into it, the price would be in the same neighborhood when shipping costs are factored in.

I'm encountering the same issue.

Seriously considering buying the letters and numbers alone and then paying a local jersey shop to stitch 'em. $80 is just ridiculous.

According to this, the Canes have the lowest probability of making the playoffs of all 30 NHL teams (2.3%). Not that we need a statistical analysis to state that when you have terrible goaltending and struggle to score, but still, puts it in perspective.
