Thinking long term here for a dynasty league, which one would you rather have? It’s been discussed as the base of a trade, I would be receiving Tkachuk.

I'd go with Tkachuk.

Newhook's got a lot of speed and skill, but Colorado already has tonnes of that, and I could see it not being a great fit there for a while. Tkachuk's in a good situation in terms of minutes plus he racks up the extra stats like hits, blocks, PIMS.

Newhook might not get PPtime. So if it’s fantasy than this is easily Tkachuk at this point.

If it's points only, I could see an argument for Newhook but Tkachuk is the safer option. If your league places any importance on hits, shots and even pims, it's decisively Tkachuk imo.
