Go big or go home ! As my 2nd post on the boards, why not a 7 round mock draft hehe.
You can comment (indeed) and tell why I'm clueless.
Hope you like it.
I took the draft order on Wiki and height/weight on draft site (copy and paste), so maybe that it will not be sharp...hope it is.

Nice job. I think Knights goes earlier and doesn't Buffalo have an up and coming very good goaltending prospect Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen?

here or there
I’m still open, who would you prefer (who would you think they choose)
22 I’d prefer McMichael or Suzuki in this situation.
Puistola or Alex Beaucage at 64.

Dach and Robertson are fine I guess. Ryan Johnson is the son of a former King currently on staff. Not sure it means anything but he might get consideration at 33.

I hesitated a lot between Zegras and Krebs
Knight will probably be pick before so yeah Brink would be a nice pick up.
Honka, I juste don’t feel it.
Helleson deserves more love that’s true.
Thank you for the feedback

While I can't disagree with any of the Canes F picks in this mock...they're the kinds of guys we need...the Canes have a serious lack of top-6 righty shooters in the organization and all of the mock-drafted F are lefties.

It's just amusing.

Why you have Patrik Puistola going 3rd round?.
Puistola was Finland's best player in U18 WJC's this past Apiril.

I'm sorry to say this but this ''mock draft'' is most clueless mock draft what i'm ever seen.
You clearly haven't seen Puistola's games or highlights.

I went with BPA for Carolina, heavily on forward. Did not check for R or L. Thank for the feedback.

Why you have Patrik Puistola going late 3rd round?.
I don't know what is the idea of this mock draft but i can say that Puistola won't go late 3rd round.

Puistola was Finland's best player in U18 WJC's this past Apiril and i'm ready to make bet on that Puistola will be late 1st round or early 2nd round pick. Tieksola and Honka can go late 3rd round but not Patrik Puistola.

I could see him beiing pick in the second round yes, but late first I don’t know.

The idea behind a mock draft is....doing a mock draft. I just like it. I like to have constructive feedback on the picks that people would do differently.

Why 3rd round ? Puistola lacks elite qualities. He is good everywhere but I would not consider him a top prospect. He could be pick mid or early second round yes, if a team likes him.

For the habs, I prefer the pick right after both their 2nd rounders.

3rd I wouldn't mind Bolduc.

Great job on the effort level and dedication to go 3 rounds.

They would be safer pick that’s for sure. I tried to choose players with boom potentiel because mtl lacks that kind of prospect IMHO. I like their/our (it’s my team) prospect pool but I kinda hope they will go for homeruns for this year.

That comment gives a signal Puistola is a bit mystery to you.
Maybe these comments by Top 25 Finnish Prospects for the 2019 NHL Draft gets you think again your notes on Puistola.

Puistola’s season has been nothing sort of spectacular. After dominating the U20 circuit for a while, he played a handful of games on Tappara’s Liiga team but didn’t receive proper minutes or role (averaging south of eight minutes in 16 games). It was in Mestis (second men’s tier below Liiga) where Puistola made his most impressive mark, breaking U18 records by scoring 15 goals and 26 points in only 22 games with LeKi. He was among the best Finnish players at the U18 Worlds, too, putting up team-high five goals in five games.
What makes Puistola so intriguing as a prospect is his skill. His hands are among the best in the entire draft class.

Puistola is comparable to a player like Hughes in that they both attempt a lot of different moves and dekes. Some of them inevitable fail, but the fact that a significant percentage of them work makes that style work in the long run. Toe drags, between-the-legs dekes and quick forehand to backhand moves are all prominent features in Puistola’s game, which makes him both dangerous and extremely fun to watch.

While he often got away attempting difficult stuff regularly at the U20 level, Puistola refined his style to succeed in Mestis. He still pulled off nice moves here and there but was forced to play a lot more without the puck and find openings using his hockey sense. Puistola has clearly a nose for the net and often recognizes opportunities faster than his peers.

He also happens to have a very good, accurate release and a solid one-timer. His shot combined with his instincts were the main reason he was able to shatter Mestis record, scoring at a staggering 0,6 goals-per-game rate (playoffs included). Puistola’s playmaking is underrated, as he also creates a lot for his linemates.
The main thing preventing Puistola for being a bonafide top 20 pick is his skating. His stride could use some work, and his top speed and acceleration are both above-average, but not strengths.

Don't take this feedback as a personal insult.
But this time i don't agree with your mock draft and next time make your background researches better if some player is a bit mystery or unknown to you.

...ok man. I’ll accept your feedback, no problem but chill out. I read a lot on the players and I just don’t feel he will be able to translate his play to the NHL. I get that a lot of people like him and it’s ok. Maybe that I put him a bit low because I would like him to be picked by mtl in round 3 hehe. But yeah he will probably be picked in the second.

Don’t presume that I know nothing because you don’t agree with what I’m saying.

We’re no expert. I did this to have fun and I really enjoy what you are doing in the prospect board especially with finns. I’m just not that high on him and Honka compared to Tieksola, Heinola or Kokkonen.

Hey no hard feeling. Drafting is so random. Especially 2019 draft. I was wrong on a lot of picks haha
