I may be super early on this thread, and I apologize if so, but I'm looking to buy 5-10 random games for the year--Ideally some sets of 2 and some sets of 4 if possible.

Thank you!

I'll be posting some games soon.

Admins, Just wondering will this be the thread for 2019-2020 games or will there be a new thread started?
Thanks in advance!

This one was created just before last pre-season so I don't expect a new one to be added soon. Then again there's a wee bit more excitement for this season.

Apologies if this is in the wrong place, but my partner and I try to get over to NYC every winter to catch a couple of games. As we're coming from the UK and can only get over once a year, we always use stubhub/ticketmaster and pay pretty high prices for some pretty average seats before the season starts as we don't want to risk missing out or having to pay well over the odds by the time we're stateside.

I've seen a few people on other sites say you can get some absolute bargains on gamedays from the actual MSG box office, can anybody confirm that or is it generally not worth the risk of leaving it that late ?

MSG Box Office no as you're still paying an inflated price. For weeknight games against lesser desirable opponents then yes on sites like StubHub and such. But it really depends on the date and game. For higher demand games, demand can go the other way on those sites.

The box office doesn’t vary it’s price based the time til puck drop. It’ll be the supply of season ticket sellers who dictate the clearing price as the game approaches. Last year when the team wasn’t competitive there wasn’t much demand for tickets causing sellers to have to lower their asking price. Let’s say the team is better this season, demand is going to be higher and you’ll end up paying more. Stubhub/ticketmaster and this thread will be your best bets.

Don't know whether I should post in this thread or not, but I began testing the waters in selling on StubHub by selling a Jets game just moments after I bought it off Ticketmaster. There, I set my price just below face. Hope this works out for me, especially for my chances of getting the smaller Ranger ticket plans once they arrive.

You are looking to take a loss on the game? How is that going to help you get a smaller Rangers ticket plan?:dunno:

Thanks. I actually changed my mind about that yesterday morning, and quickly removed the StubHub listing, and now plan to go to the game.

Hi, just seeing if anyone is interested in tickets.

My Rangers season tickets are in section 208, row 12 at the end of the aisle. The seats have lots of extra leg room and there are no seats directly in front of you. As mentioned, the seats are at the end of the row and have a fantastic view of the entire ice.

I can forward the tickets to you via the Rangers Ticket Exchange any time.

I accept cash or Pay Pal.

Below are the tickets I'm looking to sell right now. The total price for two tickets to each game is the average cover price, $100 per ticket or $200 total for the pair.

If you are interested in buying some games, please contact me at [email protected]

Thanks and LGR

Hey folks... I have two sets of two tickets to sell for the NY Rangers game at Nashville on Saturday, November 2. I'd like them to go to a Rangers fan and the Preds wont sell tickets to folks outside the Nashville viewing area. It's a great place to see a game and always tons of Rangers fans in attendance.

Section 302, Row G, Seat 3-4
Section 302, Row K, Seat 3-4

I'm selling the tickets at cost for $202 per pair. Stupid ticketmaster fees bumping up each ticket by like $19 a ticket. Absurd.
Anyway, payment via PayPal or Venmo accepted and I will transfer tickets immediately after purchase.

With the season around the corner, going to post my full list of games and with the face value price for each pair of tickets.

My seats are in section 311, barstool seats. These tickets are not traditional seats, they are an elevated barstool type seat with a small ledge in front of you for food, beverages, phone, etc. It is the 3rd row of the section, you don't need others to get up in order to leave your seat. Also, there is a men's room one section over (I know this is important for many, myself included).

All tickets are available for now, with the exception of the first preseason game and the home opener. For the other preseason games, I will take less for them, something that is reasonable based on what they are selling for on the secondary markets.

Most other games will be available for the value listed. Some tickets are going for much more than this (think the holiday games) and will not be available unless there is a price drop.

Payment can be made via paypal or zelle. I do not have hard copies of tickets. Any tickets will be forwarded from my account and will require an email for them to be sent to. You will be able to scan these tickets from your phone.

Only thing I have to sell right now is the Flyers pre-season game on 9-26. Section 223, barstools. $89 face, will sell for cheap. $25 each?

Just bought tickets for the Rangers/Devils preseason game in Newark. Having been stationed in TX the past 6 years, I’ve been to 2 Rangers games, both in Dallas, so it’s been some time since I saw them in NY. Not quite there yet, but NJ is a damn sight closer and I’m sure I’ll get to a bunch of games this year. Can’t wait. Used to hit about a dozen games at the Garden every season before the military.
