Are there usually tickets available for games at the Garden around 6pm? I work on LI, but have to be in the city for a meeting tomorrow. I told my fiance to meet me at MSG to see the Rangers play the Wild. I'm thinking the demand to see a wild card Western Conference team on a Thursday night should be fairly low. The cheapest I see on StubHub is around $75.

Will be in NY this week for work and I was really hoping to catch the Leafs game against the Islanders but of course that one is out on LI and also happens to be the JT effigy burning game, so probably not wise to attend.

Still have never watched a game at historic MSG and saw that the Lightning are playing there Wednesday night which would be a pretty solid game to attend. Because I fly in on Wednesday and will be potentially exhausted by EOD/dragged out to work social, not sure I want to commit to the game ahead of time but want to keep my options open.

Are there usually game day tickets available at the box office or second hand for cheap? Any recommendations on best place to check (Stubhub, TM, here etc)?

Buy here or on the secondary market. Don’t buy from the box office. You’ll have no issue getting something decently priced the day of with the team being bad.
