That does not change the facts. If the script was that easy to flip, it stands to reason that the Rangers would have won more. And while you do look at things from a historical basis, you can also look at things more recently. 3 Cups in 7 years is impressive. More success than the Rangers have had in 75.

If you look through most of the NHL's history, the American teams during the Original 6 Days were not successful. Boston, Chicago, and the Rangers won 3 Cups each. Bruins then won 2 more in the early days following the first expansion. Detroit won 7 as they were lucky enough to sign the best player of the time. Oh, and it had nothing to do with territorial rights. The Leafs and Habs had the most money, and could therefore sign the most and best prospects before the draft was instituted.

Fine. But that does not change the fact that when compared to those teams, the Rangers franchise is the least successful. By far.

It's been 50 years for the leafs. I think they're a lock to beat out the rangers level of futility, if they're not already there.

The craziest demand ticket would be for a Cubs World Series. Maple Leafs SFC are probably #2 on that list after the Red Sox won in recent years

If you're talking about a series vs a single game maybe. If you're talking about any event then I can think of a number of bigger events (e.g. england in world cup final).
