Tarmo Reunanen. He was in the same conversations with Olli Juolevi in 2014-2015 as Juolevi only outscored him by 2 points in 2 more games last season, but this season Reunanen was injured for a long time and his draft stock plummeted.

That's the Rangers MO.

Seems like another pick where they go for the talent with underlying issues (in this case injuries).

I've really got no issues with pick like this. I'd rather go for straight talent than a safe pick who'll be a bottom 6/bottom pair dman in all likelihood. We're in dire need of higher end talent that if even one pans out it's a major victory.

So you think he dropped mostly due to injuries or was talent part of the reason?

Don't fall in love with him, or he'll end up in Carolina.

They take all the Finnish players I am a fan of. First it was Saarela, traded to them. Then I wanted us to draft Kuokkanen, drafted by Carolina.

They are really well run.

"Very complete. In his own end, he shines with his outstanding ability of reading the game and in the offensive zone, he's very good with the puck" or along those lines.

Of course, he's a small player so saying that he's a first round talent doesn't mean he'd go in the first round.

Right or left?

Oh come on, you know the Rangers don't believe in RDs. Pretty sure the front office got the news that only LDs are allowed to play in the NHL. Either that or they believe McIlrath is such a beast he will be playing all 60 minutes per game.

Puck-movers on the backend have high value in today's NHL. He likely won't stay a Ranger. Just don't trade him for Eric Staal.

So we drafted two left dmen... Our strongest positions..

Can we get a right handed dman plz! Just 1

By the time these guys are ready to force their way into the NHL (if ever), the team will probably look completely different than it does now.
