I think this is the guy who was a coach for Frolunda U19/U18 teams. They’ve had like 11-12 players drafted from their system in the past three drafts including Rasmus Dahlin and Samuel Fagemo.

Klefbom and Gustafsson are two.

Lagesson, Broberg, Berglund, Konovalov are all trending up.

Slepyshev could still be a player.

Pretty good list, I'd say.

I thought it was Swedish scout, or do they cover all Europe + KHL?

Klefbom, Gustafsson, Lagesson, Berglund and Broberg from Sweden.

MacT was on record of saying his directly scouting these two guys. Not sure if Eklund was in charge of all of Europe or what.

Either way happy with the new hire.

It's not that bad either though. Klefbom is great, Gustaffson really broke out last year, Lagesson still is showing potential to make that step shortly, Puljujarvi is a top 6 NHLer (don't believe me, just ask him and his agent :)), Berglund is showing well, and anything newer than that is still too soon to tell. I wouldn't call the group a grand slam, but I'd imagine it's at least par with most NHL teams.

Hopefully the next guy can knock it out of the park.
