Not sure where to post this, but my new jersey came in the mail today. I bought a new White Parise. I asked for them to stitch the lettering and numbers, which was done. However, they forgot the "A". I don't know how you forget an A for the actual alternate captain.

Now luckily I am finally going to a home game, (Jan 11 vs Colorado), so i'm wondering if they will just stitch the "A" on the jersey for free since I had requested it be put on, and it was forgotten. I don't want to send it back to restitch stuff and delay how long I get to wear the thing.

Where'd you get it from, the Hockey Lodge?

And did you request an A to be put on it?

    Yes, and yes.

Comments: I would like the customization for Parise/11/A to be sent out to be stitched instead of being heat-pressed in the store. Thank you!

Just take your receipt in at some point. I'm sure they'd do it for you no problem. I'm just not sure how long it would take but when I ordered mine from them online, it took them a couple days to customize it and ship it. I was very impressed with the turnaround time.

I'd just suggest not taking it in during a game. I've seen what that location is like during a game. Zoo doesn't even begin to describe it.

Yeah, I was surprised it got here so quick as well.

Well here's the problem though. I live in NC. I'm flying up in January for a weekend. Going to a T'Wolves game friday, Wild game friday, visiting MOA, Matt's Pub, Tom Reid's etc while im there. Staying in St. Paul.

So I don't really know the best way to get the A on.

Call them up and talk to them about it. Maybe they will compensate you to have it shipped back?

They send them out to Stillwater to get stitched if I remember right, so perhaps they will pay for you to ship it back and have it put on.

They've always been great with me (I needed a ton of CoAs).

I figured that might be an issue though, so when I bought the new one and got Koivu (yeah, I went with the sure thing...I now wish I went with Mitchell), I told her to write the C down in the comments AND put it on the jersey picture.

You get some people in there that know and are hardcore fans, and some that aren't. Sometimes I have to say the number, and sometimes they'll know automatically what number the player is and whether they are Captain or an Alternate.

I had some younger girl who it was her first time filling in a jersey sheet, so it was her, myself and her manager going over all of it so I could get exactly what I needed.

    Hope it gets sorted.

That sounds great. I will be able to call them later today and see if they can pay for the shipping. I really appreciate it Paul.

Off topic a little, does my weekend plan in January sound pretty reasonable? Should I have any issues trying to go to Tom Reid's after the game? What about parking in January?

It gets packed, but you shouldn't have any problems getting into Tom Reids. But how are you going to Twolves and Wild on a friday? One of those a Typo i'm assuming?

Probably wouldn't be able to get it sewed on during the game, could probably get it pressed on. They have a shop set up on the concourse that makes Customized Jerseys on the spot. But with Press Ons.

My ex bought a koivu jersey from the lodge but they were out of C's and they said to just come back before a game and they'll do it for free. Well we went back the next game we went to and they charged her 10 bucks to get it on. Was a bunch of ******** but I didn't have time to argue. Long story short, drop it off when you go to a game and they will prolly charge you 5 or 10 bucks.

I was there the day Kovalchuk retired, so I mentioned it to one of the sales guys at the Hockey Lodge. His response, "Who's that again?"

I really read this thread as New Jersey - Issue. I was prepared to read something about guidos coming over to Xcel and starting dance parties.

It is dead during game time however. They are also open M-Sat 10 to 6PM and are very dead during that point.

Arrive a few hours early on game-day and beat the rush. After dropping off the jersey, go to one of the local bars/restaurants and start your pre-game party!

and then you have Trooper Dan who has one of the only two original North Stars jerseys still in existence (other in Toronto) and like 500+ other gameworns.

Best guy to talk to in there, I usually just bring my friends in so we can talk shop with him every time.

I did just get my Koivu sweater today though, everything is peachy, minus the fact these jerseys are still too short, but that's what happens when you are a 6'7 Viking. Ugh.

So I should just drop it off on the Friday before the game? I could go to Xcel and leave it there, and pick it up on Saturday when I arrive for the game?
