Looking at those rushes again....Got me thinking with Hall, Hischier, Bratt, flying down the ice now this season brings me back to 2011/12 when Kovy, Elias, Parise, or Zajac would be pretty much money on 2 on 1's. If any of them were in on a rush or breakway.
That was practically the last time I had so much confidence in this team's ability to put the puck away on the rush or breakaway, like it feels intuitively correct that we will bury it. Last few seasons it's been like "oh god hope we score, they're going to shank it", to "this is it". Still can't believe that this season has turned around a lot of the dreaded last few years.
If Zacha keeps up the offense , he'll be a dangerous two-way player soon that teams will have to adapt part of their tactics to.
