3 times since the end of the original 6: ‘06 Canes, ‘94 Rags, ‘91 Pens (shout out to a 4 year old Reddit thread). When was the last time a team won the Cup without even making the playoffs the season prior?
Looking at their roster, coach, coaching staff, GM. The fact that they were trash last season with pretty much the same roster and staff 27-46-9 | 248-307 (-59)
versus
11-3-0 | 51-36 (+15)
Unreal season, 100% unsustainable.
- I just hope that they wont end up like Buffalo Sabres, when they led the league early of that season
Not sure the Canes should even count as there was no season before their Cup win. Not very often in any case.3 times since the end of the original 6: ‘06 Canes, ‘94 Rags, ‘91 Pens (shout out to a 4 year old Reddit thread).
Don’t get all technical on me.Not sure the Canes should even count as there was no season before their Cup win. Not very often in any case.
This is the correct answer. The team is good and has played very structured and cohesive hockey, but they’re so young, they’ll need to learn more before getting there I think.Nah, most Devil fans would be happy with making the playoff. Any success there is just gravy.
