Is this French guy any good, anyone know?

Treloar very interesting, Frölunda really showing who's boss when they take star players from other Elitserien teams.

Noel Gunler ( Luleå ) is already making a big impact in J18 this year. 17 points in 8 games as an underaged and not so big player is impressive.
http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=393444

Gunler is a Top Prospect on the International stage.

You also have Hugo Styf (Modo) and Mans Forsfjall (Skelleftea) already debuting in J18 Elite.

The Wahlgren Twins from Kramfors will most probably go to Modos NIU and have made some great progress this year.

Lucas Raymond in Frolundas U16 Elite (Born 2002) has a great season and have an amazing potential. I will not be surprised if he make J18 debut this winter.
http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=350702

Rocky Persson (late 2002) in Bjorkloven. His development has gone through the roof and he scores around 2 points a game in U16 Elit and plays a really physical game for his size. So far Bjorkloven has not given him the opportunity in J18 Elite although they struggle with the scoring. I guess its just a matter of time before he is lifted or maybe signs for another team.
http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=465937

Alexander Holtz (2002) Maybe the most hyped player in Sweden for the last years. He has excelled on the international stage in several WSI tournaments and are known for a outstanding scoring ability. Its been really quiet this season so far but I guess he will make a mark in Nackas U18 Elit this season.

Good read. Seen Raymond play but not the rest. He looks like a copy of William Nylander at the same age. Rocky Persson is an amazing name.

The 01 have some strong contenders.

The player that I think have the most upsides is Noel Gunler who I mentioned in the last post. He has a really strong hockey sense and has an ability to make his line mates better. I guess we will hear much of him this year.

He will lead Team Norbotten in TV-Pucken next weekend and I think they can go far in this years tournament.

Team Vasterbotten dosen`t have the Franchise players this year either and goes into the Tournament as an Outsider. I guess they will have to wait for next year to be a real contender again. In this years team they have to rely on Filip Astrom to take the lead. Although Filip already plays in J18 Elite and have done some J20 Elite games he is not really a big scorer and he has not taken the development steps many have hoped for this year. http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=381382

Last years winner Team Angermanland take a step back talent wise this year also. They have the Wahlgren twins but it will not make them repeat last years success.
http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=375372
http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=375373

I think Stockholm North will be the winner this year.
They have Albin Grewe as a leader and probably a strong contender for the tournament MVP along with Noel Gunler. Grewe plays a good two way game and scores over 1.13 a game for Djurgarden in J18 Elite.
http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=375373

They also have William Persson that has signed and plays for Skelleftea but will play the Tournament for Stockholm North. I have heard that Skelleftea has high expectations on William but he has been of to a slow start in their J18 team so far.
http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=343380

Team Gothenburg is also a top contender.
It will be interesting to see how their great U16 players will rise to the competition.
We have Isac Andersson that have a great start to this season and Lucas Raymond as I mentioned earlier.
http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=344314

I get back later with a more detailed list.

Top of the group looks very strong at least with your Gunler, Treloar, Björnfot, Grewe and the goalies. Probably not as good as some of the best age groups in depth.

Isac Andersson played for Bohuslän/Dalsland this year too, not Göteborg..

Travis Treloar is not in Småland TV-pucken squad, just played 3 games in Frölunda J18, injured?

I don't think Östergötland will stand much chance this year, but it will still be interesting to see what Arvid Costmar and Alexander Lundman can achieve. They've both started off very promising this season for Linköping J18. They're both right shooting F's with very good hockey sense, and Costmar also has a rocket of a shot. Both very comfortable running powerplay.

Costmar: http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=348012
Lundman: http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=348019

Oscar Darnell Norrtälje. He will probably not play J18 Elit next season though.

Jesper Wallstedt Västerås IK. Has already made his debut in J18 Elit Västra.

Well, today Joel & Max and their linesmate from Kramfors-Alliansen, Oscar Nordin plays with MODO J18 against Skellefteå..

So, i think it's a pretty close deal now..
