I think Hamilton is better than some think as well but I wouldn't move out Rielly. Morgan Rielly is the perfect #2 defenseman who has been asked to punch above his weight class for years. Adding another top pairing blueliner like Jones or Hamilton will help Rielly tremendously, but you need them AND Rielly or it becomes close to a lateral move.

If we are going with bargains in goal -- Campbell + cheap backup -- we need to convert this team from a "core 4" to a "core 6" and include Rielly and another high-end D in that. The problem is, I don't know how we land a Jones or Hamilton without moving a big chip. Our only hope could be packaging Robertson and Sandin but that's sacrificing a lot of affordable, young talent. Talk about going "all in" for the next 3 years.
