Since the new CBA isn't available on the NHLPA website, I will ask my question here.

Luongo was born in April '79. He could hypotheticly be an UFA at the end of the 06-07 season, at 27 years old.

Isn't the UFA rule set at 26 years old????

The UFA age drops from 31 to 27:
    2005: 31
    2006: 29 (or 8 accrued seasons)
    2007: 28 (or 7 accrued seasons)
    2008: 27 (or 7 accrued seasons)

    From the NHL FAQ: http://www.nhl.com/nhlhq/cba/index.html

Note: An "accrued season" is 40+ NHL games.
