Need virus help!

Need help, I clicked a spam link in my email for some dumb reason. Anyways Google chrome said it was a dead link but I'm worried that something could have happened.

Is it possible something happened in a dead connection so to speak?

Yeah it only found a Pup Optional newtabmedia. Whatever that is.

Norton deep scan, Norton Power Eraser and Malwarebytes found nothing I didn't trust except that one thing I mentioned, should I feel safe?

Just run a scan on Windows defender.

what is making you think you have a virus? pop ups? files being deleted? what?

To answer yes it might be possible and you are right to be paranoid. Clicking any of those links you never know what phishing **** or stuff might happen. At least you didn't enter any information. But they might still sneak something on your comp.

That being said if you did all those scans and nothing came up you ate probably good. But it's no guarantee. Sometimes these scripts or programs are hidden and hide themselves. But Google Chrome is usually solid with saying, hey this site is trying to install some ****. Are you sure you want this.
