Dwayne Allen isn't exactly durable.

He's average at best. He had a good rookie season but that's where it ends. It sucks though that back in 2012 the Colts had a great idea surrounding rookie quarterback Andrew Luck with 2 tight ends. Much like the Pats did back in the day with Gronk and Hernandez.

Eh, not particularly. If Gronks healthy it's probably the same, maybe even a tad less.

Which isn't to say this isn't a good pickup for the Pats. Good player, I'm a fan, just not really needed in Indy with Doyle's emergence.
