Not for a while. I'm not sure, but I think they start around the last week of september, with ex. games starting on the 2nd/3rd and 8th of oct. Vermont starts their season early on the 3rd. The Ivy league teams don't start their season till the 22nd or so for some and the week after for others.

Yup....but most teams are probably already practicing unofficially. All teams will be practicing within the next week or two, they just can't have offiicial practices with the coaching staff until a certain date, but they still have Captain's practices which are run by the captains (probably through the coaches).
