I watched part of it. I was shocked that Sacred Heart beat the crap out of Yale, it wasn't that long ago Yale won the national championship. I don't know if Yale has fallen that much or just had a bad game but they didn't look good at all.

The NCHA will provide the national champion for the 5th straight year. Meat grinder of a league that tempers teams for the NCAA tourney.

UMass can't score to save their lives. Very discouraging season. On the other hand, all the top teams have some bad losses - seems like the NCAAs might be wide open.

I hope they find someone good to breathe some new life into that program. The fans up there deserve better than finishing in the basement of Hockey East every year. They haven't been a threat in the last decade (haven't finished higher than 6th in Hockey East, most seasons 7th or below; I know they had a decent surprise run in '15- but still far too little), which is just sad to see. I don't expect them to compete every year, but hopefully a fresh coach can bring some energy- and success.
