Personally don't think Scott Brooks or Randy Whitman is the right coach for any team. Whitman just sucks, and Brooks couldn't win anything with three league MVPs on his roster.

Don't disagree. Ted was obsessed with Brooks for some reason and essentially kidnapped him until he said yes. I just think Wittman would have this team actually playing defense and Brooks could have been more effective coaching Nene, Paul Pierce, Wall, Beal, etc. Neither are great but they both felt/feel like round peg, square hole.

Before the complete front office reorg after Ernie, son of s4t0n, was exiled to the abyss, i was of the opinion to dump Brooks. Not a development coach period before the reorg but so far appreciated that he embraced the balancing the mini rebuild year and playing the younger players.

Don't see it discussed here but the Terps had a very entertaining win at Michigan State on Saturday night. Closed the game out on a 14-0 run going 4-4 from beyond the arc and sinking two FTs to ice it away after it looked like they choked up a 14-point lead for good. Quietly looking like they could get a 2 seed in the tourney after rattling off eight straight wins to sit atop the Big Ten standings. They have two legitimate All-American candidates in Anthony Cowan and Jalen Smith and it looks like their on-court play may finally match the hype of their recruiting classes.
