Smith took a run at Horton a little earlier, and I guess it ticked off Horton a little bit because they dropped the gloves right after a faceoff by the Bruins bench. They immediately start throwing bombs with little defense, and Smith begins to land some big punches. Horton was able to respond with a few decent punches himself, but Smith definitely won this scrap. It lasted fairly long, but it was pretty surprising to see Horton fight in the first place. They're in the playoff hunt and it's pretty risky to go with a tough kid like Smith. Horton took some big shots there, and even Jack Edwards didn't like this scrap.

Thornton the edge? Were you watching the last 10 seconds of the fight only?:laugh::laugh:

I know punch count isn't everything, but that time it was 18 to 11 for smith.

    Smith won this, hands down.

Good tilt. I'm not much of a Horton fan, so I'm glad Smith stepped up.

Thornton? Did Horton combine himself with Thorton?

Horton is a wild fighter that doesn't always look good. he took a few but also gave a few.

Thought it was a good round. I'd give Smith the slight edge because he did land some better punches, but neither seemed to be phased.
