I guess if Vegas wants a guy who has bigger shot on the power play. Wild need someone to shut oppositions top players down which Dumba has proven to lack that quality. Wild can’t score either so need to win 2-1 type games and Schmidt can possibly help in that

That's looks like a bad deal for the wild from an outside POV. Schmidt is good but Dumba has been progressing extremely well and their is a chance he can have a Brent Burns like breakout in a couple of years. The wild need dynamic talent imo and dumba is that. They already have solid minute munches in brodin and suter. Dumba is their go to offensive catalyst from the backend. They should keep him and try to get a winger/center version of him(dynamic player who can drive offensive for his own line)
