Hedman with a cheap spear on Hischier
that looks more like a love tap to the jewels to me on the replay
uncalled for, but not a nasty spear by any means
also, I don't believe in the so called 'hockey gods'
Will get a league review and a game 4 suspension
That was bad, cheap, and intentional and you can cause a lot of damage doing it. It wasn't just a tap he struck him pretty hard
Hedman is a dirty sack of ****
Should get a game... please?
That is good for one game.
No way he gets suspended. Guys get fined for this during the regular season.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he got a fine. If he does it again, then a suspension is in play.
if something like this didnt warrant a suspension in the season, i cant see it worthy of one in the playoffs but what do i know
Yeah, "love tap" or not you just can't spear a guy in the nads.
I've never cared for him ever since he pasted Sid's head into the glass what...two days after the Steckel hit during the 2011 Winter Classic??
eh, he'll get a fine but I wouldn't call it nasty. I'm just surprised a player of his caliber pulled something like that, he's not really known for being cheap.
He'll probably get a fine.
Guys "cup check" other guys in Rec hockey.
When did that start getting called a spear?
Channeling Marchand I see.
Suspend that man. **** like that is so stupid, I never understood why some guys do it.
You're right I never saw him behave like that on the ice. I don't think he has any sort of track record
Nad shots are a fine and not a suspension, unfortunately.
I guess he didn't think Nico Hischier was worthy of procreating?
Has anyone been suspended for this before? How many?
I wish spears would be taken seriously and actual suspensions would be given out but that's not the case. He'll get a fine but nothing more.
Don't think so. Draisaitl got one of the Sharks really bad last playoffs and it was only a fine.
Marchand on Dotchin but thay wasn't just a love tap. He tried to send Dotchin's nuts into his brain and he also had bunch of history.
Hedman has always been a *****.
Marchand was when he speared Dotchin last season, but that was a) MUCH harder, and b) like the 80th time he'd been suspended for something.
